He came to Nanded in 1955. Stayed near Gurudwara. He came into contact with Late Rameshwar Biyani, Late Sundarsingji Hazuriya, Late Balaram Yadav, Late Adv. Radhakishan Agrawal, Late Narayn Chidrawar, Shri Sudhakarraoji Doiphode, Shri Padmakarraoji Lathkar,Shri Krishnarao Deshpande, Dr. Nandkumar Dev etc. He and his friends had given a momentum to socialist activities in Nanded District. Degloor Nagarpalika since then is under the control of Socialist followers. He organised the active and sinsear workers cader of Socialist Party in the District with the help of his Prominent SATHI.

Principles
He has actively involved in the Usmanshahi Mill Agitation with Shri Anantrao Nagapurkar.
He is very well known for moralities and principles not only in public life but also in his professional role as Tax Practitioner. He is very much honoured in the Sales Tax Department for his knowledge and principles. Late Aziz Saheb Sales Tax Assistant Commissioner had told in his speech in farewell party on his retirement that I have worked at so many places but I have not seen a person like Sadashivrao Patil .

He is known for not favouring to anybody by illegal and immoral ways. This is being experienced by so many people in Nanded Education Society where he is a Secretary.

He was a Chairman of Marathwada Development Corporation during 1979 to 1981. During his chairmanship Ceramic Prakalp was sanctioned for Nanded. He never used vehicle alloted to him for his personal use and avoided to get telephone connection from MDC,
There are so many instances in which he has denied the offers made by various persons relating to property.

He has participated in all types of development activites of the district and the region.

Emergency

He was imprisoned for 1and 1/2 year during emergency period at Nasik Central Jail. He never afraid to do rigth things. Emergency was a real terror period in Indian Democracy, nobody could dare to talk against Indira Gandhi Government. Even most of the party workers were sailent in those days. He dared to speak against emergency with the knowledge of imprisonment. On 15 th August after flag hosting at Collectorate Nanded he and his colleague Balaram Yadav shouted a slogan Indira Gandhi Murdabad, Nahi Chalegi Nahi Chalegi Tanashahi Nahi Chalegi, Aanibani Hatav etc. After this incidence he was arrested and send to Nanded Jail for one month imprisonment. Thereafter he was realeased and again rearrested and finally sent to Nasik Jail.The then DSP assured him non arrest on the condition that he must give in writing that he will not speak against Emergency, but he denied and arrested.

Bhumi Mukti Andolan
He had participated in Bhumi Mukti Andolan at Mangli Village of Varora Taluka of Chandrapur District and arrested for 10 days in 1972.

Orator
He is known for his powerful oratory [ Bhashan ] in Marathwada Region and delivered Public speeches in Marathwada, Vidhrbha and Khandesh. He is next to Bapusaheb Kaldate in oratory. He had defeated Pramod Mahajan in competition held in the Nasik Central jail.

He is known as"Ajatshatru". He is having friends in all parties. He never involved himself in dirty politics and nor hated any leader in person. He always criticised the policies of political parties and not the political leaders.

Late Shyamraoji Kadam included him as a trustee of Nerli Kushtha Dham, a social project for rehabilitation of Kushtha Rogi. This is an acknowlegement of faith of other party leaders in him. Late Shyamraoji Kadam not prefered Congress leader but prefered him with confidence that he is a right person for social work.

In fact he is a socio-political personality. Now-a-days he is not much active in Politics but busy in the field of educational activities with the responsibility of Secretary of Nanded Education Society and  Divisional Secretary of Maharashtra Rajya Shikshan Sanstha Mahamandal, Pune.

He was honoured by the Nagri Samiti on the eve of completion of 61 years along with Shri Padmakarraoji Lathkar and presented with Rs.2,00,000/- pouch. This funds he has immediately transferred to Parivartan Pratishtan. He was felicitited by Ramnias Paswan. Other leaders present were Mrunaltai Gore, Pradhan Mastar, Bapusheb Kaldate and Pannalalji Surana.

Recently he has been appointed as Regional Secretary of Association of Educational Institutes of Maharashtra.

Whatever work he accept whether political or social , he do it with devotion.

He is fortunate to get company of Late Shri N.G.Gore, Late Shri S.M.Joshi, Shri Bapusaheb Kaldate, Mrunaltai Gore, Madhu Dandavate, Jordge Fernandes etc. His familiy is also fortunate to see these great people with them at their house.
